Human Trafficking, Canada's Secret Shame

May 2022

The CWL would like to invite all parishioners to attend a webinar organized by National Community Life chair, Faith Anderson.

The webinar is titled “Human Trafficking, Canada's Secret Shame - How it Happens and How it can be Prevented" and is scheduled for Saturday, May 28th, at 9 am, Pacific Time. The webinar features renowned expert on trafficking, Joy Smith, who is well-known for her tireless campaigning and education on this subject.  It is sure to be a very informative webinar.

This is a good way to educate ourselves and learn how to take action on the subject of human trafficking in Canada.

April 2022

We lift up our prayers of thanksgiving to God for the work of our mighty Catholic Women's League and for all our friends who helped contribute to our Building Fund through the purchasing of one or more Easter Lilies.

May our beautiful parish continue to bloom throughout the Spring and Summer and years to come.

Easter Lily Fundraiser 2022

Put your orders in early, brothers and sisters!  Following our Masses (starting this weekend) you'll be able to invest in the beautification of our church and your home as we look ahead and prepare for the Easter Season.

Our intrepid CWL members will be ready to take down your order at the back of the church or reach out by email. Remember it is the BEST DEAL IN TOWN!

2022 CWL Membership Drive

The CWL membership drive happens this weekend at St. Joseph's.  Our Catholic Women's League is such a crucial ministry here in our parish and a blessed force throughout Canada.  All women of St. Joseph's, if you're not a member already, we encourage you to connect with one of our CWL sisters after one of the Masses this weekend.

Or you're welcome to reach out to the president of our St. Joseph's Catholic Women's League - Mrs. Diane Aloyisus - from wherever you are right this second.  To connect with Diane via e-mail: [email protected]

Thank you.

Thank you CWL!

September 2021
